Chipboard shapes work so great in the new Dina Wakley Kraft Journal. They are just the right size to add an extra something to your focal point. In this project, the chipboard is paired with some white printed collage tissue for an interesting additional layer. Follow along to learn some fun ways to incorporate these new techniques into your journal.Â
Â
Step 1: Using the Ultra Thick Gel medium, glue the underside to the collage paper. In this project, white backgrounds were used to create a muted layer to your kraft pages.Â
Step 2: Choose some complimentary colors to scribble onto your page. Here, Turquoise and Blushing were used.Â
Step 3: Using some White Gesso go over your scribble marks to pull out their colors into the white. Go around the page, but try to leave most of the center clear so that you will still be able to see your text background.Â
Step 4: Spray some Turquoise and Rouge Acrylic spray onto your chipboard shape. Allow to dry.Â
Step 5: Using a Mini Blending Tool, Stencil a phrase onto the page with the Turquoise Acrylic Paint. Then use the Blushing to add some marks with the Marks stencil to the background.Â
Step 6: Glue the Chipboard down and add some doodles with the Ranger White Opaque Pen.Â
