InstructionsÂ
Don't you wish it could be Christmas every day? There's just something magical about that time of year. We may be months away from Christmas but we can create some fun Christmas journal pages with Dyan Reaveley's new release of stamps and collage sheets!
Â
Step 1: Find a black page in the Classics Journal.
Â
Â
Step 2: Spray Dylusions Shimmer Spray in Balmy Night throught the Dylusions Stencil Ice Queen. Amazing how well the Shimmer Spray shows up on the black card stock.Â
Â
Â
Step 3: From the stamp set Tree Topper, stamp 5 snowflake hexagons and a total of 4 half hexagons.
From the stamp set Hats Off to Christmas, stamp the head with the christmas tree hat.
From the stamp set Any Old Elf, stamp the tall elf, the hat and the bow.
Cut all the stamped images out.
Â
Â
Step 4: For the character you will need the head, the elf, 1 half hexagon, the bow and the hat. Cut the head and elf as shown in the picture.
Â
Â
Step 5: Fit the hexagon on the head as shown. This covers up the zig zag from the tree being removed.
Â
Â
Step 6: Piece your character together as shown. The tree from the head is being used as a dress with the bow at the top. The star from the tree has been glued to the pom pom at the end of the hat. With the half hexagon and hat placed on top you can't even tell a tree has been removed from the head!
Â
Â
Step 7: Find and cut out these images from your Dylusions Collage Sheets - Christmas.
Â
Â
Step 8: Arrange your images as shown and glue them down. Cut off the excess that hangs off the page.
Â
Â
Step 9: Once your images have all been glued down trace your images with a black paint pen and add some doodles. You can also add a thin white border with a white paint pen.Â
And you're done!Â
Christmas in July it is!
