InstructionsÂ
This new Dylusions journal is just awe-mazing! I love it!!! I think there are so many different ways you can decide to use this journal. You may just have to get a few for different styles!Â
Â
Â
Step 1: Turn to a page in the Dylusions Square Ledger Journal. Any background will work. Apply Dylusions Black Marble paint through the Dylusions Stencil, Suits You Sir, using a Mini Ink Blending Tool.Â
Â
Â
Step 2: Do some journaling or write a favorite poem or quote using the Letter It Fineliner pen 01. It’s important that the pen not reactivate when wet as you will be adding more layers on top.Â
Â
Â
Step 3: Using the Dylusions Paint Brush apply some Lemon Zest Dylusions paint randomly on the page.Â
Â
Â
Step 4: Apply little bits of Blue Hawaiian Dylusions paint and then wipe it with a baby wipe. This gives it a bit of a water color look. You will have areas that look blue and then some that look green as the Hawaiian Blue mixes with the Lemon Zest!Â
Â
Â
Step 5: Still using Dylusions Blue Hawaiian Paint, apply some paint through the large Dylusions Stencil, Martha’s Massive MatÂ
Â
Â
Step 6: When the paint has dried completely, loosely sketch around the circles with the Dylusions White Linen Paint Pen.Â
Â
Â
Step 7: Go around the perimeter of your page with the Dylusions Washi Tape in White. Here two different patterns have been used. Feel free to use all the same, or have all four sides different!Â
Â
Â
Step 8: Find the collage images shown:Â
Dylusions Collage Sheets, Set 1; burger (body) and headÂ
Dylusions Collage Sheets, Set 2; legsÂ
Glue them to your page using the Dlyusions Creative Dyary Mini Glue Sticks. Then add doodles and trace around your images with the Dylusions Paint Pens. The colors used here are Black Marble, White Linen, Lemon Zest, and Cherry Pie.Â
Â
Â
Step 9: Using the Dylusions Journaling Block (or you can freehand) draw some lines on your background using Dylusions Paint Pen in Cherry Pie. You may use the existing lines on the page as a guide. Â
Â
Â
Step 10: Next, add a quote from the Dylusions Bigger Back Chat, Set 2 and draw around the stickers with the Letter It Fineliner.Â
Â
Â
I just love having the ledger pages as a start for art journaling. The design adds to the background and even make it easy to journal on your pages!Â
