Instructions

Hello again, my crafty friends! I’m a HUGE fan of organization and keeping my craft supplies in order so I was super excited to see the new Dylusions Nesting Boxes. The cool part is that you can decorate them yourself and personalize them to suit your needs! In this tutorial I’ll show you how easy it is to create a beautiful and practical way to store your Dyamond Dusts and be able to see what colors you have at a glance. Have fun creating!

Step 1: Paint the lid of the smallest Dylusions Nesting Box with Black Marble paint, be sure to paint all the sides as well. Allow to dry completely.

Step 2: Place the Dylusions Large Hexicomb Stencil on top of your lid and trace 14 hexagons with a pencil as shown.

Step 3: Put a bit of Laidback Lilac Dyamond Dust into the lid and add a couple drops of water. Use the Dylusions Waterbrush to mix into a thick liquid and paint your first hexagon.

Step 4: Repeat step 3 with Pink Flamingo, Bubblegum Pink, and Cherry Pie Dyamond Dusts to complete the first row of hexagons.

Step 5: Continue painting each hexagon with a different color Dyamond Dust until they are all filled in. Allow the dust to dry.

Step 6: Use the white UniPosca paint pen to outline and define all of your hexagons.

Step 7: Use your paint pen again to write each color’s name inside each hexagon and write “Dyamond Dusts” at the top.

Step 8: Apply a hexagon border around the sides of your box using the Border it Again Dyalog Stencil and White Linen paint.

Step 9: Use your Posca pen to outline those hexagons as well.

Step 10: With Dylusions Designer Stickles in Stardust, add a bit of sparkle to the border and complete your box!
