I am a colletor of all things Tim Holtz......Always have been.....The first bottle of this color was used up while making pumpkin jewelry for Halloween....since I was using silverplate flatwear to make them I had to come up with a sealer that would not remove the 1st coat of ink from the silverware....All the suggested sealers did now work....So FYI....One dried coat of ink, a spray of Krylon clear enamel paint, let dry well and then add the 2nd coat to get the desired color and a 2nd coat of ink did the trick.....It made darling pumkin necklaces from flatboat....with part of the spoon's handle bent and painted with a green alcohol ink, and details on the pumpkin added in a drker orange or red to make it like like a normal pumpkin....Layering each coat of ink with a coat of spray enamel....Allowing both the ink and the sealer to dry between each coat. Something to oass along to anyone else who has a problem with coating things ith the alcohol inks....the sealers are alcohol soluble....so if you use them they will come off when you put the 2nd coat of ink on the silver....the enamel does not come off, but protects the layers of ink. You cannot go wrong with Distress roducts from Tim and Ranger.
