Looking to add a pop of color and playful energy to your mixed-media projects? Look no further than Dina Wakley Media Neon Scribble Sticks! Follow along and explore just one way to use these new Scribble Sticks to make a vibrant background in your art journal!
Step 1: Scribble various Neon Scribble Sticks onto a page in the small Kraft Journal. Here Stoked, Gnarly, and Radical were used.
Step 2: Lay a stencil over the page. Using a wet wipe, scrub some of the color away through the stencil.
Step 3: With a mini blending tool, apply some white paint through a different stencil.
Step 4: Add some colorful botanicals to the page using the Botanical Redux stencil. Here, Legit and Bodacious acrylic paints were used.
Step 5: Add a strip of patterned or typed transparency to the page with a stapler. Cover the lid from the Ultra Thick Gel Medium jar (or any other jar lid) with Stoked acrylic paint. “Stamp” circles onto the page using the lid.
Step 6: Stamp a face and phrase onto cardstock with Archival Ink. Color both with Scribble Sticks and cut out.
Step 7: Layer the stamped images with some printed collage tissue and attach to the page with Ultra Thick Gel Medium. Splatter with Black Gloss.
