Instructions
Step 1: Cut Dina Wakley Media Board to 4” x 4” squares.
Step 2: Prepare pouring area by placing paper cup(s) in a shallow cardboard box. Place Dina Wakley Media Board on top of paper cup to elevate. Have your pouring station ready before mixing paint. *Tip: Place an unused surface on the bottom of top to catch drippings and use in your mixed media artwork.
Step 3: Add 1 part Buff Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint to a Mixing Cup followed by 3 parts Dina Wakley Media Pouring Medium. Mix thoroughly. Add 3-4 drops of Dina Wakley Media Cell Creator and mix.
Add 1 part Gilt Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint to Dina Wakley Media Pouring Bottle followed by 3 parts Pouring Medium and shake. In a separate mixing bottle, repeat with Sterling Paint.
Step 4: Add diagonal stripes of the Buff Paint mixture to board.
Using Applicator Bottle, add stripes of Sterling & Gilt Paint mixtures.
Tilt canvas and use stir stick to move paint to create marbled effects. Be sure paint is spread evenly over entire surface. Repeat on multiple boards to create coaster set. Set aside to dry.
Step 5: Once poured Media Boards are dry, mix ICE Resin® according to instructions. . Apply a small amount of mixed resin to each Media Board. Spread resin evenly across the Media Board and along the edges using an ICE Resin Squeegee. Allow to dry 8-10 hours before handling. Allow to cure 3 days before use.
*Tip: Add 4 Adhesive Vinyl Bumpers to the bottom corners of each coaster to complete.
