Love You Card by Joy Baldwin

There's still plenty of time to make your Valentine something special, why not follow along with Joy Baldwin as she shares how to use Perfect Pearls to create a beautiful floral Love You card!

Instructions

Hey Crafty friends, Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we all need a card to give to that special someone. So for my card today, I will be using Perfect Pearls to add a beautiful floral background. Let’s get started.

Love You Card Step 1

Step 1: On a piece of Black cardstock, stamp the “LOVE” sentiment with Clear Ink from the Space Training Stamp set. Sprinkle White Embossing Powder onto the stamped sentiment. Dump off excess embossing powder and heat with Heat Tool until melted.

Love You Card Step 2

Step 2: Now using the Perfect Medium, stamp the two floral and one leaf image from the Watercolor Blooms stamp set, all over the background of the Black cardstock. Then take the brush for the Perfect Pearls and sprinkle a little bit of powder onto the images and move it around. With a clean brush, dust off the excess powder. Give the paper a light mist of water with a Distress Sprayer to set the Perfect Pearls.

Love You Card Step 3

Step 3: Using a White Opaque Pen, draw tiny hearts and dots on the background.

Love You Card Step 4

Step 4: Trim the black card panel ¼” on all sides. Stamp the “You” Sentiment from the Space Training stamp set onto black cardstock with Clear Ink and heat emboss it with White Embossing Powder. Trim it down and use Foam Adhesive under it for dimension.

Love You Card Step 5

Step 5: Add Foam Adhesive under the card panel and attach it to a white A2 size card base and finish with some sequins.
