Letter It™ Let's Party Card by Joy Baldwin

Follow along with Joy Baldwin as she shows you how to make this bright and fun Birthday Card.  She uses some Letter it™, Tim Holtz Distress®, and Ranger Texture Paste to add some sparkle and dimension.

Instructions

Step 1: Starting with a piece of A2 size White Cardstock on a Non-Stick Craft Sheet, ink the background with Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick. Slightly overlapping the colors. Trim that down ⅛” on all sides.

Step 2: Place the Party Time Stencil over the card panel and secure it with tape. Using the spatula, spread a thin layer of Texture Paste over the whole card panel. Make sure each of the openings in the stencil is covered completely with the paste.

Step 3: Peel the stencil off carefully and then add the glitter to the card panel, before it dries so it will stick to the paste. Clean off the palette knife and stencil immediately with water.

Step 4: Stamp the sentiment from Let’s Party in Jet Black Ink and then add the candles with the Distress Oxide Colors from the background. Cut the sentiment out (I cut it with a circle die).

Step 5:  Adhere the card panel to a white A2 size card base, add the circle sentiment with Foam Adhesive to the center of the panel.
