Instructions 

I am so excited for these new paint colors! Mustard and Raspberry are my new favorite combo, and Malachite and Sapphire are gorgeous. Let’s have fun playing with these new paints in our journals!

Step 1: Using your favorite stencil and the mini ink blending tool, stencil a pattern onto a page of the Small Kraft Journal. Here the colors used are Raspberry, Mustard, and White Gesso.

Step 2: Outline the shapes with a Scribble Stick. Using a brush and water, activate the lines made with the crayon. 

Step 3: With the mini ink blending tool, cover a small tag with paint in a contrasting color to your background. Here, Malachite and White Gesso are used.

Step 4: Add some journaling to the page with a white gel pen or paint pen.

Step 5: Rip up some collage tissue, and adhere a bunch of it to the page with Ultra Thick Gel Medium. Make sure the pieces look a bit random.

Step 6:  Adhere the tag over the mishmash of collage tissue, leaving most of the collage tissue peeking out from behind the tag. Add some thread to the tag, and then choose a design from the new transparency set to create a focal point. Adhere all with staples and/or Ultra Thick Gel Medium.

Step 7: Find a phrase in the Typed ledger papers and cut out the words. Adhere them to the page to finish up the focal point. Pick one of the colors from the background. With a round brush, add some water to the paint to make a thinner consistency. Then tap the paintbrush with your hand over the page to add splatters.
