Two of my favorite things to do is cut outs and collage! Dyan’s stencils and collage sheets make it so easy and fun to do.
Step 1: Turn to a page in your large black dot grid Journal where the next page is free as well. Find the images shown from the collage sheet sets #2 and #4. Align them along the top and bottom of your first page.
Step 2: Glue the images down and then cut around them, cutting out the middle of the page. Don’t forget to put the Dylusions cutting mat under your page to protect it from getting cut.
*Note: The white paper shown in the picture is just placed there so you can see clearly how it looks.
Step 3: On the top of your second page trace some downward vines from the stencil ‘Leaf it Out’ with the Dylusions White Linen Paint Pen.
Step 4: Gather the vines (set #4) and the people (set #1) from your collage sheets. Glue them down on your page as shown. You may also outline them with the White Linen Paint Pen.
Step 5: Find a quote you like and write it in the blank space left on your page. The one used here reads “time and good friends are two things that become more valuable the older you get”.
Final Thoughts: It doesn’t take a lot of time to create impactful interactive pages. There’s so many options, you just need to look at your stencils and collage sheets in different ways!
