Dylusions Suit Up Journal Spread by Denise Lush

In this tutorial, Denise Lush shows us how to create a vibrant and eye-catching journal spread using Dylusions Shimmer Paints, Stamps and Stencils to create a unique and fun design.

Instructions

With just a few quick steps you can have an interesting art journal spread with cut-outs! Cut-outs add so much fun to your journal and is a great way to draw attention to a great quote!

Step 1: Open up to a two-page spread in your small Dylusions Black Creative Journal. You will also want the pages behind the left page to be blank as well (see step 5 & 6 if you’d like to see why). Grab the large Dylusions Stencil Suits You Sir and some Shimmer Paints. The colors used here are White Linen, Island Parrot, Calypso Teal and Cherry Pie.

Diamonds – Calypso Teal

Step 8: You may glue this page down to the one behind it (as it has been done here) or leave it loose and decorate those back pages as well in a future art session.
