Dylusions Art Journal Window Page by Beth Broadway

Now you see it, now you don't! Follow along as Beth Broadway shows you how to make a clever interactive window page using Dylusions Shimmer Paints, Stamps, Stencils and Collage Sheets.

Instructions

Hello.  For today’s project I created a cut out window art journal page using the Dylusions Small Black Journal and the newly released Dylusions Shimmer Paints and Dylusion Collage Sheets.  It’s a playful way to use face images and the collage bodies interchangeably in any journal.  Enjoy!

Step 1: Cut a 3x3 window (or window size of your choosing) from the Dylusions Black Journal Small using the Dylusions Cutting Mat and craft knife.

Step 2: Using Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, stamp the 2 smaller face images from the Dylusions Pandemic Stamp Set. Glue the images back-to-back with Dylusions Glue Stick. Create hole and reinforce with an eyelet.

Step 3: Using Dylusions Shimmer Paint in Postbox Red and Pure Sunshine and the Ranger Mini Blending Tool with Foam, stencil paint through Dylusions Stencils Blocks Large and Betsy’s Block Large onto journal page.  Remove one page from another section of journal and trifold to size needed. Step 10: Adhere and center trifold piece to the journal page.  Be sure body images are centered below the “hanging” face image.

Step 11: Finally, doodle around stenciled images and create the title.  The Dylusions White Linen Paint Pen is ideal on the black background.
