How exciting is it to add some bright color to your art journal pages? Dina Wakely Media now has six amazing new colors that won’t disappoint and look spectacular on her Kraft Journal pages. Follow along to create this fun spread in your journal.
Step 1: Using some Ultra Thick Gel Medium, glue down some torn collage pages from the Grids collage paper. Using a Ranger Ink Mini Blending tool, stencil all around the page with White acrylic paint.
Step 2: Paint various strokes of paint over white cardstock. Combine one or two colors per page.
Step 3: Using Black acrylic paint and a Mini Blending tool, stencil the Coasters stencils all around your papers. You can mix it up as you go. You will now have some collage papers for this project, and plenty left over for your stash.
Step 4: Cut out various shapes from your bright colored, painted collage papers. Here, we cut out circles in various sizes and then glued them on to the page with Ultra Thick Gel Medium.
Step 5: Spray some splatters of Black Acrylic spray to add some true 80’s flare to your page. This will give your spread a graffiti look.
Step 6: Stamp some Half Faces onto white cardstock with Jet Black Archival Ink.
Step 7: Glue your images down in various places with Ultra Thick Gel Medium.
