Instructions
Hello everyone! My inspiration for today’s project came from the colors of spring. I made an A2 size (4.25”x 5.5”) Mother’s Day card using Wendy Vecchi MAKE ART Stamp, Die, Stencil Set in Award Winning and Tim Holtz Collection Doily stencil for the background. Heat embossing is a great way to add texture and color to your images. Using a stencil for the background provides interest and dimension to your project. Let’s have fun!
Step 1: Trim a piece of Stark White Cardstock to 4”x 5.25”. Blend the entire panel with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide using a Mini Ink Blending Tool with Foam.
Step 2: Center the stencil on the blended panel. Blend over the stencil with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide using a Mini Ink Blending Tool. Put the panel aside.
Step 3: Stamp the trophy, banner and ribbon from the Award Winning Stamp Set in Embossing Ink on Stark White Cardstock. Tip use an Anti-Static Pouch tool over the cardstock before stamping to remove static.
Step 4: Place a piece of printer paper or a coffee filter underneath the stamped images. Sprinkle Leaf Green embossing powder over the stamped images. Gently tap off the excess powder. Melt with a Heat Tool.
Step 5: From the Award Winning Stamp Set, stamp the sentiment “WORLD’S BEST” on to the banner, “#1” on to the ribbon and “MOM” in the middle of the trophy with Vibrant Fuchsia Ink.
Step 6: Use the Award Winning coordinating dies to cut out the banner, trophy, and ribbon.
Step 7: Glue the trophy with Multi Medium Matte on to the stencilled panel. (see picture for placement) Pop up the banner and ribbon with foam tape. (see picture for placement)

Step 8: Adhere the panel with Multi Medium Matte on to a 4.25”x5.5” Stark White cardstock card base.
