I just love Wendy Vecchi’s Doodle Flowers! When I got my hands on the new Floral Doodles stamp set, I could not wait to play! Here I will show you how to create a pretty easy card using Crackle Paste for dimension and ink blending Archival Inks for quick and easy coloring. 

Step 1: Blend Prickly Pear Archival ink through Simon Hurley’s Grand Greenery Stencil using the Ranger Domed Ink Blending Foam and handle. Add dimension using Ranger Detail Blending Tools to add Leaf Green and Fern Green Archival ink over the stencil. 

Step 2: Apply Distress Translucent Crackle Paste over the stencil. Allow Paste to dry. 

Step 3: Using Jet Black Archival Ink and the Perfect Stamp Block, stamp three flowers from the new Floral Doodles stamp set on Perfect Cardstock. Then stamp out one of each flower to use as masks. The masks are the flowers in the picture that are cut apart from the leaves. 

Step 4: Using the masks, cover the leaves to ink blend the flowers using Cactus Flower or Sunflower Archival ink. Carefully remove the masks and use the flower masks to ink blend Prickly Pear Archival ink on the leaves. 

Step 5: Using the polka dots on the stencil in the Let’s Shop Stamp, Die & Stencil Set, blend the matching ink used on the flower to darken the dots on the petals.  

Step 6: Once the Crackle Paste is dry, stamp the three-circle cluster stamp randomly over the background with Jet Black Archival ink. 

Step 7: Add Black Enamel Accents to the centers of the flowers. Then arrange and adhere one flower with Perfect Card Adhesive. Use Ranger Adhesive Foam Tape to the last two flowers to add dimension.  

Step 8: Line up the sentiment using the 7” Make Art Stay-tion and the 7” Make Art Acrylic ruler. Then attach with Ranger Adhesive Foam Tape. Finish off the card by layering the panel on Letter it™ Black Cardstock and then on a Perfect Cardstock card base.  

You can see how the Crackle Paste added just that extra little something!
