Instructions
Hello crafty friends! I’m really excited to share with you a card I made using fun supplies from Simon Hurley’s newest release. I hope this tutorial gives you some inspiration to do something fun and creative!Â
Â
Step 1: Create an A2 card base out of Stark White Cardstock. Cut the 8½ x 11 cardstock down to 4¼ x 11. Then score it at 5½. Cut another piece measuring 4 x 5¼ to be your front panel.Â
Â
Step 2: On the front panel piece, use the new Geo Circles layering stencil with Tropical Tango, Minty Fresh, and Remember Me ink pads. Â
Â
Step 3: After using the first layer of the Geo Circles stencil use the second layer and apply the new Rosy Cheeks Lunar Paste.Â
Â
Step 4: On a separate piece of Stark White Cardstock, stamp some of the floral images from the Inked Blooms stamp set with Rosy Cheeks, Guppy, and Slippery When Wet ink pads. Once you’re done stamping, die cut the images with their coordinating dies. You can die cut more than one to add dimension to these beautiful florals.Â
Â
Step 5: Once you’re done stamping and die cutting the florals, glue all the pieces together. Then glue them onto the inked background.Â
Â
Step 6: Heat emboss a sentiment from the Inked Blooms stamp set on Tim Holtz Distress Black Heavystock using Emboss It clear pad and white embossing powder. Then trim it and glue it onto the front panel piece.Â
Â
Step 7: Use some Glue Glisten Stickles to add some extra shine to the card.Â
Â
Step 8: Pair the card with a matching envelope and it is ready to be sent to a loved one!
