More Sweets and Treats from the lovely Dyan Reaveley! I am just loving these new Dylusions stamps! So much fun and the possibilities are endless!Â
Â
Step 1: Stamp the images shown on some white paper and cute them out. Here’s a list of the images used: Â
High Tea – headÂ
Everything Stops for Tea – kettle and shoesÂ
Bake it Yourself – the sweets and cup cake bottomÂ
Fancy a Cuppa – tea cupÂ
Â
Â
Step 2:Â Using the Dylusions stencil Coins in the large size, paint some circles randomly on the page using a Mini Ink Blending Tool. Here Dylusions Paint in Rose Quartz has been used with some Dylusions Shimmer Paint in Bubblegum Pink around the edges of the circles.Â
Â
Â
Â
Step 3: Create a border around the page with the new Dylusions Washi Tape. Here the months have been used along the top, vertical numbers on the right side, days of the week on the bottom and horizontal numbers on the left.Â
Â
Â
Â
Step 4: Glue down your stamped images as shown leaving the cup and sweets until the quote has been written on the page.
Â
Â
Step 5:Â Using the Dylusions Paint Pen in Black Marble write out your quote. Make sure your paint has dried before going over the circles with your paint pen. Once your quote has dried use your White Linen Paint Pen to add some highlights to the letters. Â
Tip: If your quote is coming close to the bottom of the page, you may want to glue down the rest of your images before finishing your quote just to make sure they don’t cover the words.Â
Â
Â
There you have a super quick and easy page using the new Dylusions stamps and fabulous washi tape. I do hope you decide to give this tutorial a try and if you do, make sure to tag Ranger and myself so we can see your wonderful creations! Have fun!Â
