Hello again, crafty friends! Spring is in the air and nothing says spring time like bright flowers and rich, full fronds. Dylusions’ new Dyamond Boards and stencils are perfect for this vibrant, decorative frame. Follow along with me and create a place to showcase your favorite snapshot!
Step 1: Paint 10 flowers from the Dylusions Dyamond Board Flowers set with Dylusions Flip Cap Paint in Crushed Grape, Funky Fuschia, Bubblegum Pink, and Rose Quartz. Add in a bit of Dylusions Flip Cap Paint in White Linen for some variation in color. Don’t worry about blending it completely, it’s great if all your flowers are different! Set your flowers aside to dry.
Step 2: Remove the puzzle pieces from the Dylusions Stamper’s Anonymous Chipboard Rectangle Puzzle Frame and save them for a future project. Separate the Chipboard frame from the back panel and paint it with Dylusions Flip Cap Paint in Black Marble.
Step 3: Paint the back panel with Dylusions Flip Cap Paint in Island Parrot and allow it to dry completely.
Step 4: Using the Mini Ink Blending Tool, apply Dylusions Flip Cap Paint in Polished Jade through the large Fronds of Fun Stencil.Â
Step 5: Using the Black Marble Paint Pen, trace the stenciled fronds then doodle lines within each leaf.
Step 6: With the clear Emboss It pen, draw small circles in the center of one of your flowers. Coat with White Dyamond Pebbles Embossing Powder and tap off the excess.
Step 7: Melt the Dyamond Pebbles with the Heat It Craft Tool and repeat this process for the rest of your flowers.
Step 8: Outline your Flowers and the white embossed circles in the centers with your Black Marble Paint Pen.
Step 9: Glue the black frame to the fronds panel with Glossy Accents.
Step 10: Arrange the flowers to your liking around the frame and glue them down with Glossy Accents. Once everything is dry it’s ready for you to mount your favorite picture!
