It may not be Christmas yet, but when you have new adorable Christmas Stamps like these, you just can’t resist getting into the spirit! Whip up a page in no time using Dylusions Ink Sprays for a quick and easy background.Â
Â
Â
Step 1: Open to a page in your Square Ledger Journal and mist with water. Along the bottom of the page, spray some Dylusions Mushy Peas Ink Spray. Then spray some Dylusions Ink Spray in Vibrant Turquoise along the top. Blot with a paper towel and let dry.Â
Â
Â
Step 2: Add a faint background to your page using second-generation stamping. To do this, ink your holly stamp from the Dylusions Stamp Set Mr. Boo’s Adventure with Distress Archival Ink in Crushed Olive. Stamp first onto a scrap piece of paper. Stamp a second time onto your background. Â
Â
Â
Step 3: Do this stamping technique randomly all over your page, rotating your stamp as you go.Â
Â
Â
Step 4: Lightly spray some Dylusions Mushy Peas Ink Spray through the Large Gold Nuggets Stencil.Â
Â
Â
Step 5: To create a border around your page, you will need some washi tape to mask off the other page. Apply some paint to the perimeter of your page with Dylusions Vibrant Turquoise Paint, using the Dylusions Journaling Block to create a wavy border.Â
Â
Â
Step 6: While you wait for your background to dry, stamp the images shown from the stamp sets Mr. Boo’s Adventure and Just Robbin Along using Ranger’s Archival Ink Pad in Jet black onto some of the Dylusions Mixed Media Paper.Â
Â
Â
Step 7: Color in your stamped images with Dylusions Ink Spray, and then cut the images out. Â
The colors used here are Vibrant Turquoise, Polished Jade, Dirty Martini, and Mushy Peas. White Linen Dylusions Paint was also used to color in the mustache and beard.Â
Â
Â
Step 8: Once your background has dried, trace your border and create extra lines with the Black Marble Dylusions Paint Pen. You may do this using the Dylusions Journaling Block again, or you can f it. Â
Â
Â
Step 9: Glue down the colored images, add a quote to your page, and you can call it done! As easy as that!Â
