Instructions
Step 1: Using the Wendy Vecchi Grid Stencil and an Ink Blending Tool with Foam, ink the Wendy Vecchi Perfect Cardstock with the Blendable Cornflower Blue Ink.
Step 2: After moving the same stencil as shown in the picture, ink the paper with Blendable Prickly Pear Ink.
Step 3: Using my stamping platform, Blendable Watering Can Ink and stamp from Spotlight Arts SCS154 I added that to the top of the stenciled paper.
Step 4: Using the Wendy Vecchi mat mini mug art and the mug stamp from set SCS162 I stamped the mat mini with Jet Black Archival Ink. I find it works best to ink the stamp and then place the mat mini on top.
Step 5: The mug art stamp set comes with a stencil that makes inking a breeze. I used Blendable Poppy and Blendable Watering Can for the center of the mug. I used the new Detail Blending Tool to add some Blendable Red Geranium to the sides of the mug. Next I used the stamp from the faux graniteware starter kit inked with Archival Black to add more interest to the mug.
Step 6: Using the flower form the Wendy Vecchi set Artful Life SCS134 I stamped the flower with Jet Black Archival Ink. Next, using an Ink Blending Tool, I inked them with Blendable Sunflower and shaded them with Red Geranium using the Detail Blending Tool.
Step 7: Using the same technique I used for the mug, I stamped the Wendy Vecchi mat mini Special Art leaves. The stamp set is Wendy Vecchi SCS 160. I used Blendable Prickly Pear and then shaded with Blendable Fern Green.
Step 8: I finished the card by gluing my pieces to the card stock with Wendy Vecchi Perfect Card Adhesive (this stuff is awesome!). I shaded the edges of my card with Blendable Acorn. I added a mat mini star and
spoon and quote chip from Tim Holtz ldeaology. My finishing touch was to add dots to the center of the flowers using Watering can enamel accent.
