InstructionsÂ
Adding transparent layers to your artwork can add extra interest and dimension. The new Dina Wakley MEdia Transparencies offer images for you to add to all your mixed media projects. Follow along to see how IÂ created these tags.
Â
Â
Step 1:Â Spray some white tags with Turquoise and Fuschia Acrylic Spray. Allow to blend together and dry completely.
Â
Step 2:Â Using a Mini Blending Tool and White Gesso, stencil randomly onto the tags.
Step 3:Â Cut out circular shapes from the transparencies to fit your tags and set them aside.Â
Â
Step 4:Â Stamp your focal points onto the white cardstock with Jet Black ink and cut out.Â
Â
Step 5: Choosing two coordinating colors to your tags, color your images with Scribble Sticks. Then add water with a brush to blend them out. Â
Step 6: Using some Ultra Thick Gel Medium, glue around the edges of the bottom half of your circles so that the top will be open like a pocket, and add them to your tags. Allow to dry.Â
Step 7: Glue some Collage Tissue words to your figures and slide them into your “pockets." For an additional flourish, add some ribbon to your tags.Â
