Ranger Crackle Texture Paste Halloween Card by Kimberly Boliver

Celebrate Halloween with this cute bat card tutorial by Kimberly Boliver! Featuring Ranger Crackle Texture Paste, it creates a unique, textured background that's both fun and festive. Perfect for a quick and easy card-making session!

Instructions

I love using texture paste because you can add a different dimension to your background with any of them. Ranger Opaque Crackle Texture Paste is one of my favorites because it is a surprise until it dries – you never know how it will crack. Let me show you how to make this cute Halloween card, using it for my background.

Step 1: Ink blend Pebble Beach Archival Ink on a piece of Tim Holtz White Heavystock cut to 4”x5 1/4”.

Step 3: Pour Ranger Bubbly Embossing Powder over some areas of the texture paste while it is wet. Set it to the side and let it dry. Once everything is dry, heat emboss the powder carefully, so the paste does not overheat.

Step 4: Stamp three bats from the Simon Hurley create Fall Sampler stamp set with Jet Black Archival Ink. Die cut them using the matching dies. Stamp the sentiment using Granite Archival ink and trim it out. Cut a slightly bigger piece of Tim Holtz Black Heavystock to mat behind the sentiment.

Step 5: Once the background is dry, assemble the card. I find Ranger Glossy accents works great for adhering things over texture paste. Mount the panel on a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” piece of Tim Holtz Black Heavystock and finally on a card panel cut from Simon Hurley create Stark White Cardstock.
