Hi everyone, Joy here today. I was inspired to make this a very colorful card by the sentiment in Wendy Vecchi’s Autumn Greetings Stamp Set. I used ink to color all of the pumpkins and leaves and Ink Blended the background, I hope you enjoy this project.
Step 1: Start with a piece of A2 White Cardstock, Ink Blending Tool and Foam (you will need one foam for each color of ink). Start at the top of the cardstock and begin inking with Antique Linen, then Brushed Corduroy in the middle and finally Walnut Stain at the bottom. Add those together until a nice blend is achieved between all of the colors. Trim a ¼” on all sides of the card front.
Step 2: On another piece of White Cardstock ink it with Carved Pumpkin, Bundled Sage and Iced Spruce. Trim them apart and on the Carved Pumpkin piece spray with Rusty Hinge (lightly), repeat that step for the Bundled Sage cardstock, with Cracked Pistachio and then Iced Spruce cardstock with Speckled Egg.
Step 3: Once dry, stamp the pumpkin from the Autumn Greetings Stamp Set multiple times on each piece of cardstock, using Jet Black Archival Ink. Then use the coordinating die to cut it out.
Step 4: Ink another piece of White Cardstock with Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint and Barn Door. Spritz those with water from a Distress Sprayer and pat dry.
Step 5: Stamp the different leaf stamps from the Autumn Greetings Stamp Set, with Jet Black Ink. Use the coordinating dies to cut them out.
Step 6: Glue the Pumpkins and Leaves with Multi Medium Matte Glue and White Adhesive Foam for dimension. Trim off the excess.
Step 7: Stamp the sentiment with an Acrylic Block and sprinkle on the White Embossing Powder and heat it with a Heat Tool until melted. Adhere the card front to a white cardbase and finish it with Mercury Glass Stickles on the stems of the pumpkins and a few dots scattered around the card.
