Stickles really add shine to the flower, dragonfly and accent dots on this endearing note card. I love the dimension and glisten Stickles add, and it doesn’t rub off when it is dry!
Step 1: Ink smoosh Pebble Beach Archival Ink on a Ranger Craft Sheet and spritz with 91% alcohol. Smoosh a piece of Tim Holtz White Heavy Stock, cut to 4” x 5 ¼”, in the ink to cover most of the cardstock.
Step 2: Holding the Seafarer Archival Ink Pad on an angle, swipe it a few times across the inked panel.
Step 3: Ink up the Simon Hurley create. Handwritten Background Stamp with Coffee Archival Ink. Press the cardstock on the inked stamp to get full coverage of the image.
Step 4: Stamp the images from the Simon Hurley create. Beautiful Blooms stamp set using Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink. Die cut the images using the coordinating Beautiful Blooms dies. Then die cut each of the images from Tim Holtz Black Heavy Stock for a shadow.
Step 5: Swipe a little of each Archival Ink pad on the craft sheet: Deep Purple, Aquamarine, Chrome Yellow, Light House, Vivid Chartreuse, and Olive. Using a Ranger Artist Brush and a jar of 91% alcohol to wet the ink, paint the stamped images.
Step 6: Adhere the images to the black die cut slightly off for a shadow look.
Step 7: Adhere the inked card panel to a black card base cut from Tim Holtz Black Heavy Stock. Then, assemble the card. Use Letter It Foam tape to pop up the red peony and the “Just a Note” sentiment.
Step 8: Add Icicle Stickles Glitter Glue to the dragonfly wings. Then add Glisten Stickles Glitter Glue to the center of the yellow flowers and as accent dots on the card. Allow it to dry completely.
